Support viable forests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Preserving natural forests and other forests with high conservation values is crucial to maintaining biodiversity. These forests also play a central role in climate work by storing large amounts of carbon. Despite the fact that the forests are vital, Sweden’s last primeval and natural forests continue to be felled and replaced by one-sided tree plantations. It threatens species, impairs the functioning of ecosystems and increases carbon dioxide emissions, consequences that affect both nature and climate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
