Come and celebrate the forests we saved,Come and mourn the forests we have lost.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Days and Nights for the Forest<\/em>‘ is a festival for the whole family \u2013 a meeting place to share knowledge and spread joy and commitment in the continued fight for all life in the forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival is an arrangement of Living \u00c4lvdal in collaboration with Protect the Forest and the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation in the High Coast-\u00c5dalarna with support from the Maria and Eric Strangell Foundation for Nature and Animal Conservation<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

16-19 July 2026<\/strong>The festival opens with an opening at 6 pm on Thursday 16\/7, and ends at 5 pm on Sunday 19\/7. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

NiOki Beats<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

NiOki Beats<\/strong> was named Best Folk Music of the Year by P2 and was nominated for Newcomer of the Year at the World Music Gala 2025.Nina Nordvall Vahlberg joik, accordion, flute and goabdes (Sami drum) and Kristina Aspeqvist vocals, percussion and production. Both are composers and have worked together for 30 years. The 2nd edition has collaborated with instruments as diverse as the modular synthesizer Buchla and ngoni from Mali. The world of sound is large, powerful, adventurous; The songs are about the elements, the ancestors, mountains, forests, plants, animals. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Getting here<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Skogsn\u00e4s is located by the Fj\u00e4llsj\u00f6 River in northern \u00c5ngermanland, about seven kilometers northeast of Ramsele (see map<\/a>). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public transport in sparsely populated areas is unfortunately substandard, but if you are adventurous and flexible, it is possible to get to Skogsn\u00e4s by bus from Ramsele (line 378) on Friday. The stop is called Str\u00f6mn\u00e4s (Sollefte\u00e5). However, the trip must be pre-booked, more information on the county transport DinTur.se<\/a>. Unfortunately, no buses run during the weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feel free to use our Facebook group “Days and Nights for the Forest<\/a>” to offer or find forest friends to carpool with.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ticket information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Festival pass: 350 SEK (seniors 250 SEK)<\/em>1-day ticket<\/strong>: 200 SEK (pensioners 150 SEK)<\/em>Children under 18 years free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Campsite for tent is included in the price. There are shower facilities in the area, and clean bathing water is offered in the Fj\u00e4llsj\u00f6 River, which flows next to the village. Skogsn\u00e4skollektivet will have both food and coffee for sale. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
