For the first time, the Research Trip was carried out in two different places in the country at the same time, Moskosel in Arvidsjaur municipality and the area around F\u00e5gelsj\u00f6 in the municipalities of Ljusdal and H\u00e4rjedalen. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"269\" height=\"272\" src=\"https:\/\/skyddaskogen.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-65560\" srcset=\"https:\/\/skyddaskogen.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-5.png 269w, https:\/\/skyddaskogen.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-5-120x120.png 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 269px) 100vw, 269px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p><br\/>The reports contain a detailed description of the natural values of the areas and which species are at risk of being lost if the forests are felled.<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>Report F\u00e5gelsj\u00f6 <a href=\"https:\/\/skyddaskogen.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/rapport-forskningsresan-2024-fagelsjo-small.pdf\">here<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>Report Moskosel <a href=\"https:\/\/skyddaskogen.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/rapport-forskningsresan-2024-moskosel-small.pdf\">here<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>The participants on both trips inventoried many areas that turned out to be fantastically beautiful natural forests with a large number of red-listed species. Nearly six thousand finds of a total of about one hundred and fifty conservation species were found during the week. Despite the irreplaceable natural values of forests, they lack protection today. Several of the inventoried forests are also facing immediate threats of felling from the forest companies Sveaskog and Stora Enso, as well as by Ljusdal municipality.   <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to documenting the natural values in the visited forests, the reports constitute an important and revealing review of the actions of environmentally certified forest companies and Sweden&#8217;s lack of work with forest protection.
