Is a forest-wandering nature inventory visual artist who has been voluntarily engaged for the forest since the 1980s.
I live just east of Gothenburg in Härryda’s hilly and lake-rich forest landscape where I find inspiration for my artistry and for my commitment to the forest.
In addition to my artistic activities, I have a consulting company where I do environmental investigations and nature inventories.
I grew up in Västervik where I as a child spent the summers in the archipelago with its forests with gnarled old pines, which created a strong feeling for nature.
Has been active in the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation for many years, on the board of the local district in Härryda and for the county association.
Also involved in forest issues at the national level in various groups and networks.
Sits on the Swedish Forest Agency’s sector council, region West and in Mölndalsån’s water council as a representative of the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation and the non-profit nature conservation.
Through my involvement, I have gained insight into everything from the great importance and function of forest ecosystems to how forestry and society affect the forest.
I want to work for a change in man’s today often negative impact on nature and for more forests to be protected.
