Roger Adolfsson

I am a forest owner and carpenter with the belief that we must, and can, live our lives closer to nature and without consuming it. For my part, I try to increase my understanding of what a forest is, and it is also my goal to increase forest owners’ understanding of what a real forest is. I see a great need to protect the few forests that remain and to restore the others. Biodiversity and the climate cannot tolerate any more of today’s devastating forestry. In addition, I try to establish conditions on my own land for biodiversity, by establishing pastures, mowing with a scythe, spruce forest edges, freeing up nature value trees, etc. In my own company, the goal is to use resources from the forest in its most optimal way, and preferably reuse and reuse materials.
To get energy, I spend time in nature.
