More of Everything
Humanity is facing a double global crisis of climate change and biodiversity loss, in which how we manage and use the world’s forests plays a crucial role. At the same time as fossil fuels must be phased out, forest-based bioenergy and the bioeconomy are often highlighted as climate-friendly solutions.
More of Everything is a film that wants to nuance and question the green narrative that is being spread about the Swedish forestry model, which is often described as an example of how economic growth, climate benefits and biodiversity can be combined. The film features a number of prominent and independent researchers and experts who examine the forest industry’s and politicians’ claims about the Swedish forestry model and the bioeconomy.
If these claims are not true, continued use and dissemination of the model, both in Sweden and internationally, risks having serious consequences for the climate, biodiversity and the ecosystems on which we all depend.
