Protect the Forest’s work is built on the voluntary commitment of its members. Whether you have a lot or a little time to contribute, every effort matters – together we are stronger!

We work internationally, nationally, regionally, and locally. Through information sharing, education, advocacy, and debate, we highlight the forests’ biodiversity and climate benefits, protect the right of public access and Sámi rights, and emphasize the importance of climate-proofing forests and safeguarding them from exploitation and depletion.

Membership fees are also an important contribution to Skydda Skogen’s work. The minimum fee is just 100 SEK so that everyone can join. But the higher your contribution, the more we can do for the forest.
