Upplands Limestone Coniferous Forests

Fungi in Uppland’s limestone coniferous forests is applied citizen science on forests that are particularly worthy of protection. The project aims to systematically inventory conservation species at known sites in order to contribute to the authorities’ work to preserve them, as well as to knowledge about Sweden’s limestone coniferous forests as a whole, as well as provide an opportunity for a new generation of non-profit conservationists to network with experienced inventors and practically exchange experiences in the field.
