Petra runs the conservation mycological project Boreal Mushroom Forests together with Helena Björnström and Erik Persson. She is a mushroom consultant, has studied mycology at SLU and is voluntarily engaged in nature conservation work, including through inventories and support to other nature conservationists and in the local mushroom club in Luleå. Through her own company Kollijox, Petra works as a graphic designer and has designed several conservation mycological publications. Together with Helena Björnström, she has also published the book Sandtallskogens marksvampar. Petra wants to help more people open their eyes to the boreal fungus and understand the importance of fungi for the ecology and conservation of the forest.
