Benjamin Ladraa

Benjamin has been active for human rights issues, the environment and climate for over a decade and has a broad experience in campaigning, communication, advocacy and information work.

For the past three years, Benjamin cycled around the world through 26 countries to draw attention to Africa’s last colony, Western Sahara. He has lectured on human rights issues at universities in all corners of the world from Japan, the United States, Indonesia to Algeria and Sweden.

He has cycled 2000km through Sweden from Gothenburg to Abisko to raise money for amputees in Palestine, organized an asylum march from Gothenburg to Stockholm to strengthen the right to asylum and visited many refugee camps and occupied areas around the world.

Benjamin lives in Gothenburg, grew up in Umeå and in addition to his involvement is also a musician and has played drums and percussion in everything from jazz bands to symphony orchestras
