I am convinced that human development and nature conservation go hand in hand. I was born in Colombia’s enchanting landscape and have lived in Australia and Europe for the past ten years, where I deepened my studies in Forest Engineering, Natural Resource Management and recently completed a double MSc in Forest Information Technology and Forestry.

For several years, I have applied IT solutions in forest-related issues and have experience from both private companies, government departments and academic research. Through all these experiences, my basic premise has always been the same: to protect the forest.
