My name is Åsa and I have been involved in various climate and environmental issues for many years. In my profession as an interior designer and structural engineer, I have struggled with working in an industry that gives rise to a significant part of society’s resource needs, emissions and waste. My involvement in the forest issue started when I realized the demand for wood raw material that many industries have (including the one I work in) and in what way it is one of the crucial issues of our time. Has previous experience as a board member – for Protect the Forest 2022-2024, Miljöbron 2010-2014 and 2017-2019 and Marks Konstgrafiska Verkstad 2010-2015.
